My day job is coaching football …
Like many people, however, we all need a hobby. I have been lucky enough to find TWO great hobbies in walking and photography (more specifically, videography).
Also, like many people, once I found my hobbies or interests, I could not understand why it did not happen sooner!
But, anyway, here I am! I have joined millions of others in walking around country and urban areas as well as making and keeping a record of the walks with my cameras.
Fresh air and tech. I could not be happier! It is great when sunny and warm but can test your passion in the wet and cold. But that is part of the fun and also a chance to be even more creative in varying weather conditions. Rain puddles in the winter can be just as interesting as fully formed woodland in the summer.
These ‘hobbies’ can consume your whole free time and you have to be careful, especially on the filming side of things when attempting to create that ‘masterpiece’ out of all the footage you have just taken. A location to film around can take a whole day or two but then editing can become too intricate as you try and piece together everything into something that seems good enough to upload for your audience. Trust me, I have found out the hard way!
But, in the main, these two hobbies are perfect for me as I enjoy the outdoors and also the idea of filming and keeping an artistic record of where I have visited.
